Any good relationship is based on clear, effective communication. Your relationship with your dog is no exception. Training fosters this type of communication and helps to build an affectionate, respectful relationship between you and your dog. Owners are more successful when they seek out a proper education to learn the right techniques to communicate effectively with their dog.

We don’t believe in turning dogs into robots. Our training gives dogs room to fail while they figure out what we are asking.

Puppies are like little sponges. They start learning right from the beginning. While you will need to have developmentally appropriate expectations, it is a good idea to start training your puppy as soon as you get them. This way you are ensuring you are establishing good behaviors right from the beginning.
As my background is in training service dogs, aggression is not my area of expertise. If you are looking for a trainer to help you with aggression issues, try contacting your local shelter. They will often have a trainer they can recommend.
In short, no. While I am a guide dog trainer, I do this training through an organization. Working for an organization that trains a large number of dogs per year gives me the flexibility to select a dog for an individual from a variety of different dogs to find the right fit.
